Competitors at the Missouri State Senior Games say there are several reasons they enjoy spending time at the bowling alley.

Although 88-year-old Ed Burnham’s 15-minute mile pace would have put him last place in the Missouri State Senior Games’ 10K run, he says he doesn’t care. He runs because of his love for it.

The Missouri State Senior Games held a darts competition Saturday morning at Hearnes Center.
Only one women’s team registered for the 3-on-3 basketball competition. Three men’s teams agreed to play them so they could participate in the Missouri State Senior Games.
In 1978, Carroll Walker lost his right arm in a farming accident. Since then, he has had to learn how to shoot his bow and arrow by using his mouth.
A small group of 14 participated in the Missouri State Senior Games horseshoe division Friday at Cosmopolitan Park.
