Several injured in bus and SUV crash

SIKESTON — Several people remain hospitalized after a Richland school bus failed to yield to a sport utility vehicle in Stoddard County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says six Sikeston residents in the SUV were in serious condition following Thursday's crash. Three school children and the bus driver sustained minor injuries.

The patrol says the bus failed to yield. No one has been charged.

The crash happened in Grayridge, an unincorporated area west of Sikeston.
