'Watching the Watchdogs' news media citizen dialogue kicks off Wednesday

COLUMBIA — The “Watching the Watchdogs” news media citizen dialogue begins Wednesday. This first meeting kicks off a series of public conversations about the current state and the future of news media. The event, which is free and open to the public, is a collaboration between the Columbia Human Rights Commission Study Circles program, the Columbia Missourian and the Reynolds Journalism Institute.

Registration will begin at 6 p.m. and the dialogue will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Columbia Public Library at 100 W. Broadway. Childcare and transportation will be available. Call 874-7487 for more information.
