COLUMBIA – Though Boone County was under a flash flood watch, no flooding was reported on Monday, according to the Boone County Department of Joint Communications.
The watch for Boone County expired Monday evening, though many other counties in central and southwest Missouri are still under a flood watch until early Tuesday morning.
An advisory from the The National Weather Service in St. Louis listed Boone County in the regions with a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” as of 4:32 p.m. Monday, saying there was a chance for thunderstorms Monday night, but they weren’t expected to be severe.
