New Bloomfield man wins St. Jude dream home giveaway

COLUMBIA — Jerry Stith of New Bloomfield received the deal of a lifetime, when he was able to purchase a $350,000 home in Columbia for only $100.

Stith’s name was chosen out of nearly 3,400 raffle tickets in the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway on Sunday, according to a news release.

The house is located in The Vineyards subdivision. Tickets have been on sale since Feb. 19.

The money made from the sale of the raffle tickets will go toward helping young patients at St. Jude in their fight against cancer.
