JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri taxpayers will have the option of contributing money to breast cancer services when filing their taxes next year.

Gov. Matt Blunt signed legislation Thursday adding the contribution checkoff to Missouri’s income tax forms.

The state would pass the contributions on to the Friends of the Missouri Women’s Council for providing breast cancer services.

Missouri already has 18 other options for donating money on its tax forms, including to the state’s general revenue fund.
