Saturday, May 17, 2008 | 3:37 p.m. CDT

A sold-out performance at MU by world-class violinist Itzhak Perlman has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 6 in Jesse Hall.

Perlman’s March 9 performance, part of the University Concert Series, was canceled for medical reasons.

Tickets for the March performance will be honored at the October concert; no exchanges or reprints will be necessary. If tickets were supposed to be held at the box office window, they will be available there on the new date.

No new tickets are expected to be available.

Questions may be directed to the concert series at 882-3781.
