Cougars women's basketball team falls

The Columbia College women's basketball team lost 69-54 on Saturday at Harris-Stowe despite 23 points from sophomore forward Rachel Oswald.

The Cougars trailed 25-24 at halftime but were hurt by 32 percent shooting and 27 turnovers.

“We just didn’t shoot the ball well and made our lives worse by turning the ball over,” Cougars coach Mike Davis said.

Sophomore guard Whitney Davis added 11 points for Columbia College.
