COLUMBIA — Two teenagers were victims of a home invasion by two armed people Wednesday in a northeast Columbia neighborhood.

At 1:27 a.m. two armed people forced their way into the home, located in the 2900 block of North Willowborook Road, and ransacked it, according to a Columbia Police Department news release. Inside the house were two males, ages 17 and 18, and they were not hurt.

A vehicle was among the items stolen from the residence, the release said. The suspects were described as two males in their early 20s, 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with slender builds. Both were armed with handguns.

The investigation by the Columbia police is ongoing, the release said.
