Gordon Arthaud
COLUMBIA — Gordon Arthaud, of New London, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008. He was 85.
Mr. Arthaud was born March 5, 1923, in Hannibal to James Delbert Arthaud Sr. and Margaret Lowrey Arthaud. He married Wilma K. Glascock on Feb. 11, 1945, in Hannibal.
His parents, wife, a brother and two sisters died early. Mr. Arthaud is survived by a sister, Billie Williams of Alexandria, Va.; two sons, Paul Arthaud of New London and Dean Arthaud of Columbia; and one grandson.
Visitation will be at noon Saturday at Smith Funeral Home and Chapel, 2619 St. Mary’s Avenue in Hannibal. Services will be conducted by the Rev. John Hayes at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grand View Burial Park.
